Enugu state election latest news

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has won
the entire 14 chairmanship positions in the
Local Government areas elections conducted in
Enugu state on Saturday.
A total of 17 Chairmanship positions were
contested where PDP won 14 positions.

The chairman of the Enugu State Independent
Electoral Commission, ENSIEC, Mike Ajogwu,
SAN, announced the result on Sunday.

Hmm. PDP took all the seats, so what
happened to APC? Well the current
government has no achievements at the
center, so what do we expect. The SE
and SS were always PDP strongholds
while the SW and NC are APC power
blocs. The north is up for grabs
depending on who heads the ticket. If
PDP can clean house, beat them back
into line and conduct transparent
primaries then APC will be a one term
presidency.
